Inspiring Future Innovators at Orchard Meadow Primary! 🚁✨

We had an amazing day at Orchard Meadow Primary School, delivering an engaging and interactive assembly all about STEM careers, aerodynamics, and the power of self-belief! This session was made possible through the generous support of Oxford City Council’s Community Impact Fund, helping us inspire the next generation of engineers, pilots, and problem-solvers.

🔹 Career Talk – We kicked off with an exciting look into STEM careers, showing students how drone technology is transforming industries, from emergency response to space exploration!

🔹 Drone Demo: The Four Forces of Aerodynamics – Students got hands-on learning about lift, weight, thrust, and drag, the key principles that keep drones in the air.

🔹 Interactive “Jedi” Drone Demo – The highlight of the day! Students tested their Jedi skills, trying to land a drone using the power of their mind (with a little help from physics and technology 😉). This fun skit led perfectly into our next lesson…

🔹 Inspirational Talk: The Power of the Mind – We shared stories of resilience, the importance of believing in yourself, and how STEM careers are open to anyone who dares to dream big and work hard!

🔹 Q&A Session – Students had fantastic questions about drones, careers, and the future of technology. Their enthusiasm was incredible, and we can’t wait to see how they shape the future!
